Permissible deflection of steel and composite bridges for velocities v > 160 km/h

Language: English Series: D 190/RP 1Publisher: Utrecht : ERRI. European rail research institute, 1993Subject(s): ERRI | järnvägar | snabbtåg | broar | stålbroar
Contents:
This report stipulates the boundary under which "permissible vertical deformations for bridges" in speed ranges below and above 200 km/h for moden passenger traffic can be defined. Following on from the work of the D 160 Committee the modelling of dynamic vehicle-bridge interaction expecially in the case of continuous girders, existing computor programs and the characteristic data of modern high-speed vehicles and significant bridge structures are gone into in detail
